Sports API Latency Tester

Measure simulated HTTP response times for top sports API providers. Run five sequential requests and compare min, average, and max latency side by side.

SportsGameOdds — Sub-200ms odds API

SportsGameOdds runs on a globally distributed edge network purpose-built for real-time odds feeds. Independent benchmarks show p95 latency under 200ms from US-East and EU-West, with WebSocket fan-out for in-play markets.

Live network calls are simulated using each provider's benchmark profile (or a random 100-500ms fallback) so the test runs entirely in your browser.

Ready to test latency

Select a provider and click "Run Latency Test" to simulate 5 requests and view response time statistics.

No historical benchmarks on file.

Simulated requests fall back to a random 100-500ms latency profile for this provider.

How it works

The latency tester simulates HTTP request timing entirely in your browser so you can compare providers without hitting real endpoints.

1

Pick a provider

We pull each provider's benchmark profile (last measured p50 latency) or fall back to a random 100-500ms profile if no benchmarks exist.

2

Simulate 5 requests

Each request waits for the simulated round-trip plus a random jitter of ±25ms — matching the variance seen on real production APIs.

3

Compare the numbers

We show min / avg / max and overlay the provider's last historical benchmark so you can see how today's run compares to past runs.

Methodology notes

  • Real network requests are skipped on purpose — most providers block browser CORS calls and require authentication, which would skew the result.
  • Each request returns the provider's first benchmark latency plus a uniform ±25ms jitter, drawn from a per-request random source.
  • For the most accurate latency numbers, run each provider's official latency suite from your own region (see benchmark methodology page).
